Alexander Flick
With more than 15 years of experience in FPGA development, ranging from logic-only design to embedded systems with application specific extensions, Alexander Flick proves to be an expert in this field.
Since 2020 he holds a trainer position at PLC2 and currently, he was awarded number 1 of the AMD Instructor Awards in 2024.

Ernst Wehlage
With more than 30 years of experience, Ernst Wehlage continues to use his expertise in programmable logic.
He has been part of PLC2 since 2001, designing FPGA systems, advising developers, and leading trainings. He was awarded number 2 of the AMD Instructor Awards in 2024.

Eugen Krassin
Eugen Krassin is the founder and longtime managing director of plc2 GmbH, one of Europe’s leading training and development centers for FPGA technologies. Since in 1995, he has played a key role in advancing professional education in programmable logic design and was the world’s first Authorized Training Partner for Xilinx (now AMD).

Jan Aniol
As the Head of Software, Jan Aniol leads FPGA-based software initiatives at PLC2. With more than 15 years of experience in embedded systems, software architecture, and real-time computing, he is eager to share his expertise in FPGA-based software development at the conference.

Navid Jalali
Since 2022, Navid Jalali is an Embedded Software Engineer at PLC2. With 8 years of experience in firmware design for complex embedded systems he specializes in low-level programming, hardware-software integration, and real-time optimization.
At PLC2, he designs firmware architectures, integrates peripherals, and validates systems to meet demanding performance goals.

Nikolai Krassin
Nikolai Krassin studied Embedded Systems Engineering in Freiburg and is now developing projects using FPGAs, MPSoCs and VHDL. Since 2010, he is working as an instructor at PLC2.

Patrick Lehmann
As a computer science graduate from TU Dresden, Patrick Lehmann specializes in digital design, FPGA tech, and high-speed interfaces like SATA and PCIe™.
Since 2017, he has been a PLC2 trainer, became Head of System Engineering in 2023 and plays a key role in our hardware development. He also leads the PoC-Library, contributes to GHDL, and founded the Open Source VHDL Group.

Stefan Unrein
As the Head of Hardware Development, Stefan Unrein focuses on the design and implementation of high-speed digital systems, with deep expertise in multi-gigabit transceivers and protocols such as PCIe™ and multi-gigabit Ethernet.
Over the years, he has taken on technical leadership roles in numerous customer projects, driving innovative hardware solutions from concept to completion.
